Hello World

I just want to introduce this blog as a collection of thoughts, as documentation of my Senior Thesis Project, and as a placeholder for my future homepage www.alexsobolev.com. For the next few weeks, I will keep you informed of things leading up to the completion of my project, graduation, and beyond. Planned for March and April are several performances as well as a gallery show.

Opening this weekend is commshow; a multimedia dance performance, that explores the nature of communication in the digital age. All choreography and music was composed by students. I worked as an artistic director on the show, and perform as a percussionist in two pieces.
